Alexandra Ankrah

Alexandra’s work has transected arts and health for over three decades – having spent over a decade in senior roles at the Arts Council of Great Britain, and its successor body ACE. Alexandra is a former practicing Barrister she has also worked across the Public Sector and NHS. Alexandra, is an NHS NED and mother of four. Northern born, and southern raised – she says she owes a huge debt to her parents – her late mother a former NHS trained immigrant Nurse & her father, a founder member of the legendary 1940’s - Les Ballets Nègres.
