Drumrolls and Dance Moves: The Black-E’s Unforgettable Week Long Bash!
Hey Black-E fans,
Guess what? Our past workshop and playscheme events from October 31st to November 3rd were nothing short of epic! If you missed it, don’t worry – we’ve got the scoop for you.
African and Caribbean Dancing and Drumming Bonanza: Picture this: beats that make your feet tap on their own and moves that can rival a carnival parade. That’s what went down at our African and Caribbean Dancing and Drumming workshop. The energy was contagious, and our dance floor became a rhythm haven. From the lively beats of the drums to the hypnotic sway of the dancers, it was a celebration of cultures that left everyone wanting more. We might have started with a workshop, but it quickly turned into a full-blown dance-off!
But wait, there’s more! Our art workshop was a canvas of creativity. Brushes were like wands, creating magic strokes on blank canvases. From beginners to seasoned artists, everyone had a blast exploring their artistic flair. We unleashed our inner Picassos and Van Goghs, and by the end of the day, the Black-E walls were dripping with creativity. Who knew art could be this cheeky?
And for the little ones, our playscheme was a riot of fun! Think laughter echoing through the halls, kids with paintbrushes and aprons, and a playtime that felt like a scene from a feel-good movie. Nutritional meals fuelled their tiny adventures, the kids painted the Kitty Amelia ship as the learnt history in art.
We can’t spill all the beans here, but these pictures and videos will give you a feel of how things went down.
Cheers to drumrolls, dance moves, and cheeky art adventures!
